The real deal
We want to be there for our kids and make sure they have everything they need to prepare them for their first day. We want the best labels for their shoes, the best pencils for their case, the best lunches for their bags, but it’s so overwhelming to rock at this mom gig and make it out the other side with our sanity.
You’re time, if it's anything like mine, is already maxed. The places to be, the to-do lists that never get a checkmark on every line, the piles of laundry and dishes, the shards of paper ALL.OVER.THE.FLOOR right now (or is that just my house...). My heart literally pounds with all that I should be doing and the ACTUAL time I have in day.
What if you had information passed right to you. You didn’t have to go out searching all over the web and compare it against various websites and sources for the best of the best?
What if you could simply reach out to a trusted fellow mom who shares her experience and the resources that worked for her over coffee and conversation?
What if she was there to reach out to as you made your way through kindergarten with your child and wasn’t just a space on the internet – but a real person with the same goal in mind?
From a mother’s perspective, with the same worries and concerns I have for my daughter, the flutter in my heart when I think of her walking away into school for the first time with a backpack that’s far too big, waving me goodbye as she snaps me into reality about how quickly she is growing up.
From a teacher’s perspective and all children I welcomed into my classroom for the first time, helped them find their carefully printed name on the hook that would hold their coat for the next year, supporting them through those steppings stones to reading, writing, singing, playing, learning without mom or dad in the room, figuring out the social dynamics of the classroom, the logistics of the school, who to turn to on the hardest of days.
From a preschool perspective, watching them become independent beings, learning the language to best express themselves, letting them know they could be exactly who they wanted to be.
I get it. I’m a mom too.

I’m here to help you, Mama!
